Catherine Mellors is a qualified social worker who enjoys writing things that make people laugh. Catherine has a Graduate Certificate in Writing from the University of Technology in Sydney, Australia, and has written humorous pieces for Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex (GLBTI) community press in the ACT and in the Northern Territory. Catherine is the former editor of Quirk Magazine in Canberra. This is her first book and she hopes that you feel relaxed and enjoy reading it!

Fun Aussie fiction page-turner.

This is such a sweet little book! From chapter three onwards it was absolutely gripping. I'd put it down and then find myself wondering what was going to happen next...and having to pick it up again. It's such a page turner I whipped through it in two-three days. Lots of relationship-focused angst and unexpected twists. It's a very fun, light read - perfect for holiday reading or a wee pick-me-up. If there's ever a sequel I'll be buying it and cancelling my plans for the next few days. Nice to read some good Aussie fiction!

I thought the book was hilarious, intelligent and I loved the self care messages weaved through. It's the first fiction book I've finished in years - I couldn't wait to hear what happened in the end and couldn't put the book down. I laughed, felt happy and even a sense of justice. This is perfect reading if you're relaxing on holiday or want to 'escape' for a few hours. I'll be looking for more from this author.
