"what you should do to protect ourselves"

Just couldn't get past the sentence "More than ever you need to be aware about what we do, how we behave and what you should do to protect ourselves." (sic) on the first page. Even narcissists need editors if they can't quite grasp grammar themselves. The writing is so painfully awkward I only managed to read one and a half page before I gave up.

Hard to trust a narcissist

Difficult to read rambling from a self-proclaimed narcissist / sociopath. My burning question is - why should I trust a narcissist / socio to be truthful? These types have no credibility in my mind. Suggest go to the Psychopath Free forum if you are looking for free and trustworthy help with those types.

Brilliant insights...

If you have ever been trapped by a narcissist, you will be searching for answers. It is all well and good to read stories of others who have been through it (and that is a great first step, knowing that you are not alone), but once you start making sense of the nonsensical world they create around you, you want to know more about why they do what they do.
If you are an empath, you want to understand. You are actually trapped in the narcissists world (nightmare) by all those very characteristics that make you a good person (loyalty, taking responsibility, hard working, etc).
That is why we never (or rarely) get out of the trap of a narcissist...we have to sit back and understand what is really going on.
This book...from the horse's mouth (if true that a narcissist is what he is)...and the others in his series (which I have read the samples of and intend to read all the rest)...are insightful in the extreme about how they view us.
We are fuel...we are just an appliance they plug in to so they can harvest our energy as their 'fuel'. You are not a person, you are something that simply performs a duty for them. You, personally, are dispensable to them...replaceable with another.
Read it and shake your head. You won't understand why someone can be like that...but it will make sense of your treatment to date from your narcissist...and hopefully free you so you can see them as the cookie cutter humanoid (they all operate the same) ...and avoid them in the future.
If you've been 'had' by one of these monsters and don't trust yourself to pick a non-narcissist next time, this will help you identify them, see the signposts and the processes they go through to hook you in and keep you there...and avoid it.
Good luck in escaping.
It can be done and you can get your life back...that is where to place your hope...not in these monsters ever changing or 'seeing the light'. They won't...
...so save your precious life energy for yourself.
It is your gift...use it wisely.
