Some great pictures, some not much. A bit disappointed.

Okay, first off, I've been having fun with the book. (see pictures 1 and 8) I just think it could be a lot better. I included picture examples so you can see what I mean.
Some of the pictures are just line-art of actual wolves' heads, like you would see in a black-and-white nature book. All the fur texture is there, but it's not a design. You can just shade it, or say, "I want this wolf to be black" and go from there. (picture 6) There are also many wolves wearing Indian headdresses. I swear half of them are wearing feathers in their fur.
One or two pictures were kind of insulting for an "adult coloring book" (picture 2). Some of the simpler designs (picture 7) still looked simple but adult. That's good, because sometimes I like to do a page that doesn't take me 2 hours. Oh, and then there's one that I have NO idea what it's supposed to be (picture 5). Seriously?
As for the quality of the book, it's so-so. My comparison comes from Dover and Creative Haven coloring books. The pages seem to be the same thickness as most printer paper. They are one-sided, so I finally got to try out my markers that bleed through (can't afford artist markers right now). If you have bionic close-up vision like me, you can see that the printed lines aren't smooth, but are a little "jagged" looking and were clearly printed out on a not very sophisticated printer. A bunch of them have fairly obvious "stacking", so there are little tiny spaces between some black sections. Or they have a tiny black line where the edges of the artwork was centered on the page. I'm a freshly-graduated graphic designer and I wouldn't let a company print a book with such easily-fixed mistakes.
Bottom line: Try to find it in a store and flip through it first. Or, if you're an adult who has a kid who likes coloring wolves too, this would be a good book to share because you could tear out the easy pages and let them color with you. Unfortunately, the pages aren't perforated, so best of luck with that approach. Maybe make a few photocopies for personal use or switch off.

This isn't exactly what I had in mind compared to the other adult coloring books out there. I'd say about half of them are a clear fill in style. There's a lot of sketched art in here where it's not clear how to fill it in. So it's not bad, just expected more.
