Both volumes (this is the second) are pretty - just wish they were expanded to fully fill the pages

I recently purchased both volume one and two of this title.
The idea is great of coloring in a page with a scripture verse and have something pretty to post around the house while memorizing scripture!
But while the designs were nice enough (LOVED that they were one-sided), they seemed to be shrunk - in that they could almost have fit on half a page sideways (landscape view) - which would almost have been almost better on thicker paper so that they could be folded and used as greetings cards. (As they are, they will have to be cut down to size manually or look odd on a wall.)
Even though they weren't exactly what I was hoping for, the designs are lovely and of flowers (instead of nonsense swirly patterns) and I will still enjoy coloring them and using them as reminders of GOD's Word!

Not the best out there...

Meh, I guess you get what you pay for right? So the line work for these illustrations is gray, not stark black which is preferred for coloring books as it makes the colors stand out much more when they are completed. Also the illustrations in this book are small and centered in each page, instead of taking up the full page like most other books. I can see this being somewhat of a benefit if you were going to mat and frame the illustrations in smaller frames, but I'd rather they be large. The prayers included are nice, and the flowers are okay, just wish the quality was a little better overall.

They totally reversed at least 2 scriptures! Can you imagine how confusing this would be for someone just beginning their journey with God?

I am very disappointed in this book and will not be purchasing anything further from this publisher.

Dealing with grief and loss is something most people have to do sometime in their lives. Grief is a natural response to the loss of someone or something very dear to us. The stages of grief reflect a variety of reactions that may surface as an individual tries to make sense of how a loss affects him or her...
An important part of the healing process is allowing oneself to experience and accept all feelings that are experienced. Personally, I appreciate the way it reveals the innerworkings of a very emotional and private man.
In contrast to many works, this book doesn't try to simplify grief, justify it, or dance around the issue with pat observations or cheery reminders. Instead, it dares to question those very tactics. When someone dies in our society, there is no prescribed time for mourning for immediate family members... anyway this book is a great comfort to anyone who experiences a loss of someone they love.

Life is full of surprises and there are lots of pain and suffering. For me it’s always hard to cope with pain and sorrow, it’s like I never know how to adjust and heal those feeling. Finally I thought I must use some guide book to help me out of all those feeling in easy and quick way. So, I bought this book which was helpful and informative. The steps and healing process really works. I had read this book and followed it. Highly recommended for those who are depressed and want to recover from all the pain and sorrow. I always thought it would be best to die than to live a painful life but now I am enjoying my life very much. This book taught me to be optimistic and I had made many friends with whom I enjoy my life to fullest.

The process of grieving the loss of anyone, a loved one or a colleague, can take many forms for different people. The author has this process mapped out in this book to help us understand what it is and what it means. I have had the misfortune of losing a couple of people I was close to in my life and it is no child’s play dealing with that, whether it’s the first time or the 4th time; grief will always get you down and feel different things. The key, as the author says, is to manage it well. What’s more important though is to read these kinds of books now while you are not in crisis because they might not make sense to you when you are too close to the situation. I loved "The Last Stop"

I was so excited when I heard there was a second book out in the series. I loved "The Last Stop", and "Grandma vs. The Tornado" is just as good. I loved all the chapters but if I had to pick my favorite it would be "The Senior Games:" So funny! The author has a special talent for writing in a way that you came visual everything that's happening. A great, fun book to read.........I would highly recommend it to anyone that wants to read a feel good, laugh out loud story that continues with new and hilarious stories. Can't wait for the next one to come out!!! I hope when I reach retirement home age, the facility is just like "The Last Stop Retirement Community! Maybe getting older isn't so bad. :)

The second book in the Last Stop series was a great read, like the first, but with more of what I loved - more bulliten anouncements and more of the beloved Holy Moses. Need something to read to lighten the mood or to take on a vacation, this is your book.

About the Author
Molly Harrison is an artist working out of her home studio in northern California, USA. She has been creating art as long as she can remember and has always enjoyed fantasy subject matter such as fairies, mermaids, unicorns, goddesses, dragons, and more. Molly earned a BA in Illustration Design and has been selling original artwork and prints since 2003. Thanks to her fantastic customers, Molly has been able to make a career out of what she loves! Watercolor and ink are Molly's media of choice but she also works in acrylics and pencil at times. Not the best fairies drawings out there. They seem kind of generic. The paper is bad quality and you can see right through it (a lot). At least the designs are on one side of the page only. Some drawings are pretty but nothing special, really. I'm sending it back.

Beautiful And Enchanting Illustrations Of Fairies.........

I ordered two of these coloring books by Molly Harrison....One for me and the other for my little niece because we both like Fairies.....I enjoy coloring together with her when I see her.....This coloring book has 25 illustrations of enchanting, whimsical Fairies in all different poses......The artwork is beautiful and not simple to color...Very detailed areas......

I use pencils where my niece uses gel pens...The pictures are one sided but the gel pens still bleed through because the paper is thin......The pictures are not perforated but they come with a nice black border around them so I can kind of range where to cut them out for my niece....You could put a piece of paper in between the pages to prevent the bleed through of markers and gel pens.....I also like the fact the artist took the time to put that black border around the pictures because you could frame them after if you wanted to......

Their are Fairies dancing in the Moonlight, Fairies in Forests and Fairies with Flowers....These are just some of the pictures....

Mr Kirts has developed a unique, complex and funny cast of characters for this novel. Beneath it's wry tone and shaggy dog story line, a deeper message is clear to those who wish to see it. Life is precious and so is this novel.

great book

i read a lot of books. maybe 10 to12 a month. okay, fine is the by far the best one i have read in a very long time. it is a very interesting, complicated story. it's all over the place and at the same time, going straight ahead. i would love to tell you what it is about, but i don't know. i honestly don't know. what i do know is that i couldn't put it down. and i may just read it again, which i never do.

A Masterpiece of Love and Grace

I’m very grateful for time spent reading Chuck Swindoll’s Living Insights on Romans!
Chuck Swindoll thoroughly covers Paul’s Letter to The Romans, always with reverence for God’s Word and genuine respect for Paul, The Apostle of Grace. Chuck shares many personal insights from his years in ministry as we travel with Paul. We discover that God is Sovereign and that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His Purpose. (Romans 8:28). We discover that nothing can separate us from God’s Love in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8: 32-39) We travel to the top of the mountain where Paul says, “O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His Judgements, and His Ways past finding out!” (Romans 11:33) This is a joyful statement which shares The Peace of God, which passes all understanding! (Philippians 4:7) Chuck Swindoll has a way of teaching with real depth that always goes beyond the “letter” to the “Spirit.” This is truly a masterpiece!

"The Sermonator" does it again

Chuck has always been "The Sermonator" in my mind. The guy communicates in such a way that draws you into the message and relates it directly to your life. From the opening pages of this book - its just like my radio is on and Chuck is speaking through the pages. You can hear his tone, his creativity, and his passion for Biblical truth in just about every page. Obviously it is no comparison to the scriptures themselves - but for someone looking for additional cultural insights, original language cues as well as historical context, I recommend it to anyone.
