A delightful romp through post-apocalyptic earth, sure to please the Yabo in all of us!

Hot on the heels of his first book, Flying With Scissors, Wallass has crafted another engrossing tale that will keep the reader entertained for hours. Yabo is an action-filled story that will have you rooting for Ally and Bull, and longing for the beautiful Sedona Red Rock valley. It contains a nice homage to Motorhead, with my favorite character Lemmy. It also contains just the right amount of naughty words, protest marches, bikers, and trips to the Waffle House to keep me engaged. So, check in to the Boots-N-Saddle hotel and give this fun story a try.

A fun and frantic coming-of-age story

This is a fun and frantic coming-of-age story with a surreal cast of characters and outrageous plot twists that kept me guessing, chuckling and shaking my head through the entire bizarro novel. What an imagination Mr. Wallass has! Yet, as far-out as the story gets, the author somehow manages to make his young main characters believable and sympathetic. I rooted for Ally the entire time and for Bull half the time (after he stopped being a total jerk). And Max—what can I say about Max—I loved that dude. He's a fantastic character (in more ways than one) who is as charming a fictional character as I've met in a long time.
Overall, this was one goofy, fun, funny ride. Thank you, Mr. Wallass.

What a Ride!

This is a very engaging novel that begins when three disparate young folks meet up again out of their old high school setting. The wild ride begins. Interspersed with satirical musings about politics, religion and life in general, the novel takes you on an adventurous path of mayhem. Perhaps the most entertaining are the side characters, artfully depicted as an over-the-top, pushed-to-the-max blend of stereotypical and fanciful characters -- "characters" being the operative word. I loved this book.
